New research from the Education Review Office (ERO), in partnership with the Office for Disability Issues and the Human Rights Commission, has found that education across NZ schools and early childhood services is failing disabled learners.

In late 2021 ERO’s Chief Executive, Nicholas Pole, has given his assurance that only staff who comply with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order will be permitted to visit schools and early learning services from Monday 15 November 2021. By 1 January 2022, only fully vaccinated staff will be able to work at or visit schools and early learning services.
