In 2020, Auckland students were particularly affected by Covid-19 and extra support was provided to them. Following this, ERO undertook an evaluation of three Te Kura programmes aimed at supporting Auckland NCEA students. Te Ara Poutama is the core of Ngā Ara Whai Hui: Quality Framework for Evaluation and Improvement in Early Childhood Services. This is the framework for ERO’s approaches to reviewing early childhood services. The indicators, for outcomes and processes, are a central resource for use by ERO and the services themselves in evaluating quality in early childhood education and identifying where improvement is needed.

The result is a collection of three reports on different aspects of Partners in Learning: the findings of the evaluation; examples of good practice; and the voices of parents.
