ERO staff to comply with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order and 2022 booster amendment

In late 2021 ERO’s Chief Executive, Nicholas Pole, has given his assurance that only staff who comply with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order will be permitted to visit schools and early learning services from Monday 15 November 2021. By 1 January 2022, only fully vaccinated staff will be able to work at or visit schools and early learning services.

In early 2022 an amendment to this Order was made to ensure that those covered by the Health Order would also need to receive booster vaccinations.

To meet the booster dose requirements as set out in the revised Public Health Order all ERO Staff covered by the order need to receive two COVID-19 vaccinations as well as a booster dose within 183 days of their second vaccination.

Review Officers, Evaluation Partners and some support staff who work closely with staff and students at schools and early learning services fall under the scope of this amendment.
