Principals at Education Review Office, Wellington

Curiosity and a commitment to making a difference are what sets the amazing team at Te Ihuwaka apart. We're the Research and Evaluation Centre for the Education Review Office (ERO), providing insights into education that are a catalyst for meaningful change. Our advice is highly valued and influences Ministers, policy makers, schools, and educators to drive better decision-making and best practice, with the goal that every child achieves a quality education.

Our team is three years old and moving into an exciting stage of growth, which means we're seeking more leaders to join us. You'll play an important role in the leadership team, applying your expertise to everything from planning and leading projects to engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and coaching and mentoring our up-and-coming team members.

You could come from a research or evaluation background or a more policy-focused space. Either way, you'll be a strong writer and project manager, with the desire to develop your career and others.

We're a small organization, with a bicultural ethos, that works at pace and are impact focused, so you'll also need to be collaborative and open to new ways of working. Our flat structure means that senior leaders are easy to access, creating a friendly, supportive working environment. We are also open to secondments or fixed-term opportunities for the right talent.

If you're currently a principal or a senior ready to take a step up, keen to use your expertise for good, in a role that has a tangible impact on education outcomes for our children, we'd love to hear from you. Contact: domingo@frogrecruitment.co.nz or Ph 04 9786610
