Student Safety in Schools Recruiting and Managing Staff

This report presents the findings of ERO's 2013 evaluation of how schools ensure student safety when recruiting and managing staff. In Term 3, 2014, ERO undertook a cluster review of five Puna Whakatupu as part of scheduled education reviews. During the course of these reviews, we identified a range of good practice that was investigated further and has become Tuia te here tangata: Making meaningful connections.

Partners in Learning: Good Practice

It presents case studies of eight schools, identified during ERO reviews, that were successful in engaging with their parents, whānau and the wider community.
